Seneca OfficeJim grew up in the Seneca area and graduated from B & B High School in Baileyville. He served four years in the United States Navy and is a Vietnam service veteran. Jim began his insurance career in 1980 and purchased his first agency in 1984. In 1988, Jim and his wife Myra purchased Henry Insurance Agency and a year later moved the agency to its present location at 502 Main Street. Specializing in commercial and farm business, Jim can bring his thirty years of experience to help you design an insurance program to protect your investment.
Roy Frey, CIC

Sabetha and Bern OfficesRoy graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Business Education in 1992. He began his insurance career in 1996 and moved to Sabetha in 1998 to start the branch location from scratch. Roy grew up in Bern and married Shari Hartter of Bern. They now reside in Sabetha and have three children: Jacqueline, Jacob and Brock. Roy's interests include spending time with his family, coaching, hunting and golf. Roy is also involved in the community serving on the Nemaha County Extension Board, Sabetha Golf Board, and is the assistant boys basketball coach at Sabetha High School. Roy handles both commercial and personal lines of insurance coverage in the Sabetha office and is also licensed in Crop, Life and Long Term Care Insurance.

Seneca and Axtell OfficesBryan is a life-long resident of Northeast Kansas, being raised on the family farm near Baileyville. He has a degree in Ag Economics from Kansas State University. Bryan manages the agency's service center in Seneca and also operates from the Axtell location a couple of days per week. Bryan can help you with both personal and commercial insurance needs, but he concentrates on the farm sector. Bryan is active in many civic organizations including the Knights of Columbus and the Senece Chamber of Commerce. He also coaches sports at the high school and grade school levels.

Hiawatha OfficeNancy has lived and worked in our community her entire life. Serving the Hiawatha Agency, Nancy can help you with any line of business including: Commercial, Farm, Life, Home and Auto insurance. Nancy grew up in Denton and married Jon Daeschner in 1999. They worked together at DMS Insurance until January 2009, when SBS Insurance purchased DMS. In her spare time, Nancy likes to spend time with her family and playing golf.

Kim grew up on the family farm south of Corning and is a graduate of Centralia High School. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Management at Kansas State University. Kim oversees all of the accounting, licensing, and computer management from all of our branches and also assists with marketing. Kim and her three children: Caleb, Kendall, and Cole live in Centralia. She enjoys chasing her kids to their many activities, watching football, and spending time with her friends and family.

Serving the Seneca Agency, Brenda can help you with the lines of business: Farm, Crop, Home and Auto Insurance. Brenda graduated from B & B High School in Baileyville and has resided in Seneca for the last 26 years with her husband Galen. They have 3 grown children: Megan (Olberding), Jenna, and Blake. Outside of work, Brenda is an avid walker, a huge K-State fan, involved in many community and church projects, spends time with her family and likes to read.

Seneca OfficeMaria received her Information Specialist Degree from Kaw Area Technical School and an Associates degree in Business Administration from Washburn University. Serving the Seneca Agency, Maria specializes in Commercial and Life Insurance. Maria grew up in Topeka and married Michael Dressman of Baileyville in 2008, then making their home in Centralia. In her spare time, Maria is the Co-Director of Religion Education at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Corning and enjoys attending many local events and fundraisers.

Seneca and Bern OfficesKelly works in both the Bern and Seneca offices. She can help you with your Personal Lines of insurance including Auto and Home. Currently, Kelly is working to gain her CISR designation. She grew up in Bern and graduated from Bern High School. In 2007, Kelly graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. Kelly enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cheering for the Kansas State University Wildcats, and watching movies.

Sabetha OfficeCynthia is a graduate of Bern High School and Highland Community College. She has been with SBS Insurance Agency in the Sabetha office since 2004, handling clerical duties, writing Personal Lines and Crop insurance, and assisting with commercial and farm quoting. Cynthia and her husband, Rod, farm north of Sabetha, and are the parents of three grown children. In her spare time, Cynthia enjoys spending time with her family, reading, gardening, and local community and church activities.

Sabetha OfficeRuth is a lifelong resident of Sabetha and has been in the insurance business since 1980. She works in the Sabetha branch office and can help with any line of your insurance needs. She has been married for 51 years to Jerry and they have three children and eleven grandchildren. Away from the office, she enjoys her family, church activities, community events, traveling, all sporting events, and has served on the Mary Cotton Public Library board fo trustees for a total of 14 years.

Insurance is in Andrea's blood as her father owns an insurance agency in Manhattan and Andrea worked for him throughout high school and college. Andrea grew up in Manhattan and married Stacy Groth of Hiawatha, which is where they reside today. In her spare time, Andrea likes to spend time boating with her family, as well as camping and riding dirt bikes.

Axtell and Seneca OfficesJanet grew up south of Axtell and graduated from Axtell High School. She went on to Kansas State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Janet helps with accounting, crop insurance, and personal lines of insurance. She is married to Bryan, and they do have lives outside of insurance, which consists mainly of running after their four children.
